Just a thought, that irritating man that shouts about Cillit Bang was just on an advert on the tele, de-rusting a toolbox. Tried a search of the forum and couldn’t find very much info on this. Does it work, if so is it better than vinegar? Do you just spray it on or do you need a bath type soak overnight? Anyone using it? Just thinking!

No expert here John. I just buy a kg of citric acid for a couple of quid on ebay once in a blue moon, drop of meths and fairy liquid. It's almost free. (Almost). Personally I'd trust that far more than a composite chemical product on my tools. *puts on tin foil hat of ignorance* Interesting point though. Look forward to what the actual experts say.
