I thought I'd post it here as well, as it might be an idea for turners who don't read the general chat.
here's the beginning of one made from hot melt glue.
the foil was to stop it sticking to the MDF that was on the faceplate, and the threads were sprayed with PTFE. A chisel stuck in the back unscrewed it easily.
