Here we go a something for Christmas for the DIL 16X4 Mallee finished in satin WOP. This is the first of few I have been requested to do.

That's a fascinating piece, you wouldn't be able to resist handling that, examining all the intricate details that you've revealed, you should receive much gratitude :)

P.S. There seems to be something wrong with your camera, it gives the impression of sun in December ;)
 
Very nice hughie I do love items turned from Mallee burr I still have a few bits of it left messy ol stuff to turn though isn't it

Woody yes it can be messy but this time I used a Proforme Hollower and it tends to shoot the chips etc off to one side.

Hobbler... Parks, hmm,do you know him personally? I intend to contact him and to get some burrs.
 
Not yet Hughie 600k's is a fair drive but can be done in a day round trip :D
