Hi friends....

Someone just started a topic showing his interest in jigsaw puzzles, so I thought I'd post this reminder that Christmas is coming...

Calendars for next year will be out soon, many of them with pictures for December that might make ideal jigsaw puzzles as gifts. Also, the shelves will fill with Christmas cards that can produce beautiful small puzzles. I have 73 done for this year: less than 20 to go.

Here's one of two full-size Christmas puzzles I've made this year. This one is from a past calendar by Susan Winget, whose art work is ideal for my color-line cutting style. It's just under 300 pieces, cut from 1/4", 5-ply poplar. Chances are it will be put together over five times by as many families by 12/26.

Have phun..Any questions? I'd be glad to help..... Carter

I have to say it again. Carter you are the greatest.
That is sure a very nice puzzle. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes, Carter, I think your puzzles should be completed face down, the cutting is so elegant. Another masterpiece.
