I have a Festool Midi which I use for dust extraction on tools including my Mitre saw, track saw and domino. I recently bought a Metabo DH330 planer thicknesses which, unsurprisingly, completely overwhelms the shop vac, so am thinking about getting a chip extractor. I presume that would also suit a router table better than the Midi as well, but the main thing is to deal with chip and dust extraction on the planer. The Holzmann ABS850 looks very good for the price and exceeds the extraction specs for the DH330. Does anyone have any experience of this extractor? Is it suitable/reliable? Any other recommendations? Thanks in advance for any advice.
