Charnwood 619 table saw dust extraction improvements

Hi All

I am sure I spotted a while back a thread on this but I have been unable to find it again
I am looking to fit a hood under the top section of the saw but I am wondering if I need to remove the blade shroud that currently does a very poor job of collecting the dust. I had spotted a thread on my phone a while back but cannot remember the original subject I searched on. In this thread someone spoke about removing this shroud.

I wonder if anyone could help me with the search or even put me in touch with the chap who did it

Not sure if it's what you are looking for but someone mentions improving the dust extraction the way you say on a 629 in this thread.
