Carpentry/Joinery Apprenticeship in Surrey, Advice

Hello All,

I'm new here and thank you in advance to any advice given. I appreciate that this question may have been asked before, and I'm sorry if it's too common.

I'm 23, I have GCSE's A-Levels and a BA all in traditional school subjects like maths, history etc. But my passion really is for woodworking and that's what I want to do. I would like to get an apprenticeship as I have no training outside of tinkering in my own garage.

Is there any known organization or firm that do apprenticeships? Particualrly in Surrey? And with my lack of training, are there levels of apprenticeship? And would one be more suitable for me?

The Barnsley 'shop at Froxfield offer annual apprenticeships...might be worth an email? The training given there though is second to none and highly sought after - Rob
