I had in my head that I was going to build myself a router table even though I have a Woodrat.

For those that have a Woodrat have you chosen to add a router table to your set up?

Yes Mr Gent, I have both a Woodrat as well as a decent heavy duty router table - I find that I use them for quite different disciplines and they compliment each other really.

Yes. There are limitations to the size of items the Woodrat can handle which are more easily overcome by a router table.

There are also processes which are quicker and easier to set up and run with a router table.

Above IMHO

I like the Woodrat but I also like having a router table. :)

Hi Mr Gent, I use my router table (the big orange CMT) much more than my Woodrat.
Since adding a Incra Ultra to the table I find it easier to work on large pieces and maintain the accuracy when batch cutting finger joints.
But I still wouldn't be without the Woodrat when producing stopped mouldings or mortices.

I'd make that router table if I was you, enjoy the best of both tools.
