Buzzfeed nuisance notifications

I keep my mobile phone secret. Officially I don't have a mobile.

I've started getting unsolicited notifications from Buzzfeed when I open them its a webpage with 'news'.
How do I stop them?

I use a browser called UC Browser on the mobile.
Phone is a Motorola Moto G.
