Hi,

I have seen many great designs of workbench's that have been built by members. i have considered building my own however due to my work commitments this is not really an option.

So, if you had £300 - £1000 max to spend on a ready made bench what would it be and why?

Sjobergs are quite nice, the lower end ones need beefing up IMO.

The pics have disappeared but this looked like a promising secondhand purchase. The poster never came back online with a price etc, although he was kinda discouraged a little. N'theless, it may be worth a PM: https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/view ... sc&start=0

A point worth noting with the Sjobergs... They're often pictured with the storage unit in the base - this is an optional item for extra £'s.

I have a Hoffmann & Hammer which is VERY solid and works well for me - I'd never have made anything that good on a Workmate ...
