Hi folks,

just some pics of my recently built framesaw supposed for ripping wood.

Frame from cherry with halv-blind dovetails.

The piece of apple wood was ripped within a few minutes.

It looks like it does a good job so well done.

I can't make out the construction methof for the corner joints.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your post.

With regard to the corner joints: the longitudinal parts are connected to the cross parts with halfblind dovetails. I admit that these are difficult to see in the pictures. If you look carefully at pic 2 you can see the dovetails and the marks from the marking gauge. Next time I'll chose different woods for better visibility of the joints :D
