Box

I just had to do something as I have been busy with other things. So a quick rummage and found some box blanks which I cut off of the corners of planks which I turned into bowl blanks.
This is Elm and finished with sander sealer and carnauba wax.

Interesting gentle flare towards the top, ended up with a lot of small box sized bits of Yew today after concerted effort to sort out the disappointing stuff with loads of ring shakes so will keep those proportions in mind when I get time to work on them.

Thank you Chas I just felt that straight sides would not look right. Hopefully there will be a few more later this month as I have some new toys to play with
