You will find a black (16mmx36mm) handle on the right hand side of the machine (the belt's open side). There is an arrow pointing at it on the side of the unit. When you pull on this it releases one roller which allows you to remove/install the belt with almost no force.

I guess from your question that you don't have the instruction booklet. Try this link on the Bosch site for a downloadable version.

The English version starts on page 10, but refers to the diagrams at the start.
