Blade breaks

Hi all

When a blade breaks in the middle of an intricate cut, how do you get back to that point with the new blade.

When cutting jigsaws with a very fine blade I set the new blade on the lowest speed and carefully make it trace the path again, no problem.
Alternatively I start from the other end and make the 2 cut lines join but it is harder and not so neat.

Ive tried both these methods without much luck. And I dont want to practice. :lol:

Where the line was on the long side, rather than trace it all I will cut out fresh pieces on either side of it until there is only a small bit of cut left to trace - or sometimes no line at all.
