Blade breakage and my new scroll saw

The subject of blade breakage on scroll saws has come up in the past and I've never quite understood the angst...

After all I break blades all the time. My blades never wear out, I know when to change them - they break!

That was until I got my new Delta 40-694, which I've used daily for just over a month now and I haven't had a single blade break yet.

I'm well chuffed.

Yes, same difference between the old Delta and the new one.

I'm thinking that the long arm version must have been flexing the blades.
