Best Christmas present ever

This time last year I had to go to the doctors, trouble with my water works.
After a blood test and an examination I was told I had prostate cancer and that my PSA level was 22,5. :shock: :shock:
I've had bone scans, MRI scans and CT scans. I've had tablets, injections and 37 sessions of radio therapy.
3 days ago I had to have another blood test prior to seeing the specialist.
Great news, PSA level 0.1. I AM OVER THE MOON. just had to tell someone I am clear.

Well done mate. Although our medical professionals get plaudits for the excellent work they do for "all" of us (quite rightly so of course), it's also said that a helluva lot depends on each individual patient's attitude (i.e. state of mind).

That being so, it means that you yourself have played a huge part in beating the bogey man, so very well done matey, now enjoy a very well-earned Christmas and New Year.

Good stuff!!! - how young are you if you don't mind answering?

I am 79 but right now I am as young as I feel, and I feel great
Travelling back and forth to the hospital put about 4.5k miles on the car and cost about £75 pounds in petrol but if it's given me a few more worry free years then it's not a bad trade off.
I thank all of you for your good wishes and hope you to have a good Christmas.
