Just finished this one today made from Beech and measures 5" X 4". I had the pyrography machine last November as a Birthday present and have not used it that much, so it was a learning curve for me not just in its use but making my own curly wire shape.

C & C welcome

That's nice work, Mr Boy.
Great shape.
I really like the swirl pattern - I assume that is the curly wire shape you made.
Which machine do you have and are you happy with it?

Thank you.

I have the Peter Child one and from the little I have used it I am very happy with it. Also by having reels of wire enables me to make my own burner shapes.

This is the one I made for the hollow form. I think that there is a limit to how long the burning section is any more curves on this one would possibly be a problem.

The box it is resting on is one from Axminster and has 12 containers in it I use it to store the reels of wire as they fit a treat and also the ones I have made up trying to keep similar shapes in each pot

Is that nichrome wire that you need to use for those 'bits'?
