I'm looking to pick up a basic shop vac, something with power take off to hook up to my sanders and router.

I'm currently looking at http://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb431v ... 240v/39587 unless anyone can recommend something better for around the same price.

Questions, though.

- I'm guessing these types of hose are too rigid for attaching directly to the tool. Can anyone recommend a more flexible hose?

- My sanders (wickes jobbies) have square dust outlets, not round. Short of some duct tape, am I likely to find adaptors?

Wait for the Aldi/Lidl one to come in, mine is 4-5 years old and is still working well.
They are £60 when they come in.

Have you considered Nilfisk?
I have the 30t but you could get the 20t for £70-£80: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nilfisk-DIY-20T ... B0054OEAFS

Thanks, will keep it in mind.

Haven't they been in recently? ... could be another 6 months before they come in again.

Got mine maybe 2/3 months ago if that helps? Also the last one lidl sold had no power take off. Works fine for me and I'm happy. Very recent thread here: shop-vac-again-t96034.html Think i'd go for the Karcher one if its still on offer at screwfix and you need it now.

Cheers

I've got the 30ltr titan one - same top but slightly smaller drum. Works fine for me. The hose is a little stiff but its not hard to work with.
