Bandsaw - Kity 613 or DW876

Looking to buy a new bandsaw and have been offered these two for similar prices (the Kity slightly cheaper). Both have around 8" depth of cut and a 750w motor.

I'm leaning towards the Kity with the cast table but does anyone have an opinion?

i have had a couple of kity machines (table saws), and rate them for their quality and performance. if i was looking for a bandsaw of that size, my first choice would be inca, my second kity. The same goes for any secondhand machines- first choice inca, second choice probably kity.

That said, both machines will probably perform well, subject to fitting a decent blade and setting it up correctly.

I was looking at the dewalt (£250 on gumtree) and the reviews are mixed so decided against it. If you do get one I would love to have a shot on it.

Ended up with a bargain - Kity 613 for £99. Good condition and appears to be working well. Now to find the time to watch Mr Maskery's DVD.
