HELLO EVERYONE
Need some help with bandsaw choice. I'm using a Draper 14" bandsaw at the moment. Was working absolutely great. 1/2 blade on from Ian at Tuff Saws, cutting through 3x3 wood with ease. All of a sudden blade keeps pushing off. I've managed to sort the problem , ive loosened the top wheel and pulled it slightly forward as the blade was slipping behind the 2 bottom wheels. To get the tension on I have to unscrew a bolt on top all the way. The problem Is still not enough tension on blade. Spoken with Ian and he's going to make me a blade slightly smaller than the original sized one.
Am I wasting my time with this bandsaw? I've just seen a Coronet imp bandsaw for £50 anyone got any views on this bandsaw? Or possibly a bomb proof bandsaw second hand for £150 ish. Thank you all
