Hi all, just thought i'd let you know i had
the op on Friday morning and got home
yesterday late afternoon. Everything went
to plan and my shoulder pain has gone :D ,
I'm in a little bit of pain but nothing to bad,
so all in all i'm a very happy woodmagnet
Now to catch up on the last couple of day's postings. :)

Well Done, good news!

Makes me wonder why I spent 5 days in hospital and am still in pain nearly 3 weeks later. Ah well, they tried.

Great News Kevin...

Glad to hear you are on the mend. Especially as I've done my shoulder in
It never rains etc....

All the best. Hope the magazine helped you through.

John :)

I'd say tall, lanky girlie man, not big. ;)

Actually I just realised my Dad's in for the same op (as Kevin) on Weds. Good to know it all went well.

Kevin, great news, I wish you a successful recovery.

Wizer, if it's any consolation, my mother had a similar operation to yours this year and it was a few weeks before she felt much improvement but is doing grand now.

Brendan

yeh I was just being my usual negative self. I'm giving it til Jan to work out if it's helped at all. The (self imposed) physio is in full swing now, so we'll see.

Thanks for the good wishes all, I was told they
wanted to get me out as quick as possible (but
safely) to lessen the risk of infection, which
I happily :D agreed with. There will be
no visit to the w/shop at the moment as I am
going to listen to the surgeon's advice and
sit on my hands for a while (couple of months).
Still not much pain apart from when I cough or
sneeze (wife has kindly passed on some bugs),
so all in all I can't really complain. :D
Hope you start feeling better soon Tom, and
pass on my best wishes to your Dad.
