A member of the Australian forum (bleeding thumb) learns that I want to make a gate for the kind lady who has given us accommodation in her home.

So he brings round a full Triton workcentre outfit, plus a chopsaw, together with numerous handtools, and leaves them in my care with the request I let him have them back in a short while after completing the job required.

These aussies will do anything for you.

As I said on the aussie forum (you will have guessed from the username that I visit both) They seem very trusting & friendly over there. When you said about accomodation they offered to people they had never met before. Puts your faith back in humanity doesn't it?
