My Daughter wanted a small table to fit in a certain place. The top to be 22"x11" and 18" high. The top to be fitted with tiles. We went to Wickes to choose the tiles and as soon as she saw Claret and Blue tiles and being a Villa fan it was no need to look further. I'm not to sure of the proportions but it was what she wanted and she likes it so who am I to argue.Maybe someone else likes it??

And while you are set up for one you might as well make two

The timber is from an old mahogany door that a friend found in a skip, in fact he finds me load of wood this way I'm pleased to say

Alan how did you cut the mitres on the tops?

I like the idea of using reclaimed wood, I bought 3 old mahogany doors for £10, the seller was a joiner and couldn't believe I was just buying them to cut up.

Baldhead

Hi baldhead, I cut the mitres oversize on the table saw and then used a guillotine to get the finished size. I have in the past used a miter chop saw but found it very difficult to get them exact.

Alan.
