I’m changing motors on this machine. It isn’t the AGS everyone on this forum seems to love but its ugly younger brother. I’m just looking for any advice, tips, things to avoid.

make sure it's the same number of poles so that is spins the correct rpms!
 
Thanks, I’ve done that I hope (!) I’m more concerned about the mechanics getting the old one out and the new one in
 
They are ’simple’ to change, they use the same motor mounting system as the original AGS, they bolt to a plate that’s bolted to the machine. The AGSP usually has a metric motor on it, so a replacement usually just bolts straight on. It’s a long time since I ‘played’ with one but I believe a L90 B3 motor fits.
