Anybody have plans for an tabletop easel?

I am looking for plans to amke an tabletop easel for my daughter as she is into drawing big time.

Has anyone any or knows of any or etc.

I don't have any plans but having worked in an art shop in the past I would advise an easel that can lay fairly flat, thisis the one we tended to recommend for watercolours and sketching. I think you should be able to work out the construction from the photo.

Two things you can't see are two wooden dowels in the base just below the wing nuts, these engage against the table top to stop the easel sliding away from you. Also a small rubber foot in each corner to save scratching the dining table :lol:

It became obvious that I was not clear as to what I was looking for and should have been more explicit. Something I have to work at!

Amongst all the info I found a suitable desktop easel that I can model from.
