Hi guys,

I'm new here and pretty new to wood working. We recently completed a campervan conversion and loved the project so much we're up for more projects. We're in the process of buying another house and its a shell, so there's a great opportunity to attempt to put our own slant on interior furniture. We've got some power tools and some hand tools, but the new house has a bit of room I'm hoping to turn into a workshop. So over the coming months expect lots of queries about techniques and tools!

Welcome Jordash

You will get loads of advice here, my first tip would be.........sort out the workshop first at your new house, you will then have the required space to tackle all the tasks putting your 'own slant' on your new place.

Welcome Jordash, it looks like you will be busy for the next few months, plenty of help and advice to be found here.

Cheers for the welcome guys. Definitely agree about the workshop.

I'm itching to get started, but I'm forcing myself to wait. Hopefully it should go through in the next month. What I will be trying is working on basic hand techniques when I get the chance.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of photos and videos. I filmed a majority of my camper conversion. I'll try and post a link on here in a bit.
