I have promised to make a clock for my aunt and uncles golden wedding, it was a month ago so I am running behind time again.
So I have cut this form a bit of 1" oak, stuck a print out from the computer on and scroll sawed it out.

The biggest problem I had was cutting the hole for the watch insert. I drilled test holes in a scrap board, I could not find anything that cut a hole the right size. I ended up using a router with a guide bush, even then i had to put a strip of gaffer tape round half of the template hole. :-s
It is finished with wax, one more coat and then I will be posting it off.

Very nice,Dave :D
Scrollsaw, lathe, router - is there anything you don't have in your workshop ?
