here are a couple bits of jewellery ive made in the week/started last week

was quite happy with the colours in the walnut, before i started it look as if it would have been a dark gray, but by the time i cut into it, it was a nice light toffee colour, and look nice with the "normalness" of the brown heartwood, the customer was most happy, when he asked to make him some eyelets in a darker wood he said he wanted "something a bit different"

also made a 16mm x 9mm amboyna burl oval, no lathe work at all

Very nice work indeed.

Must be really different working to such a small scale, any chance you could include a 5p or something in your photos for scale?

hehe

4mm olive rings. although theres limit lathe work on those, just rounding it off to the outside dia, and putting a hole in it, the rest was done by hand.
