advice please

A little advice please i have been offered a Myford ML8 woodturning lathe for £190 and i have never turned wood or used a lathe at anytime but would love to have a go so would you recommend the lathe above to learn and also what do you think it;s worth

A lovely little lathe to learn on and at that price it's a gift ,perhaps give it a little spruce up and a coat of paint and you will have yourself a much better lathe than most of the modern rubbish on sale today.Fill your boots!

Blimey ... my wife's family is in Wales... mate, if you dont want an ml8 at £190 ..please can I have it ..I'll give you £200 for it and come and get it any time from this Sunday onwards. If you dont fancy it for yourself, based in those pics, take it and sell it on ...you'll make a profit from me if not others.
