Hi,

My table saw has a blade alignment issue, about 0.2mm further away from the mitre slot at the back of the blade compared to the front. I'm making some mitred photo frames at the moment, so am trying to get the set up spot on.

I have moved the table sections and the trunnions; but there is no more slack left. The only option left that I can think of is to shim where the saw motor bit is mounted to the trunion.

Does anyone know where I can get a small amount of shim material, a 100mm square 0.05mm or 0.1mm thick piece would do; but, I can only find larger rolls for about £30

Also does anyone have any opinions on what I'm thinking of doing.

Thanks,

DT

Section cut out of a drinks can?

3L coke bottle side makes good shim material.
