I need ideas please :) I've made a loom on a stand, but I need to make the stand so it's adjustable, accepting different frame widths. It can't have too much hardware if any, as I have to keep costs down, it has to be fairly quick to make and be rock solid, if all that's possible. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated :D

I've used Dominos in all the joints on the one in the piccy, even in the uprights joining the feet. I then glued all the joints and popped a screw with screw cap going through in to the Domino. I know I can't have three adjustable struts, so I take it, it would just be one adjustable strut below the frame?

Making things 'adjustable' and 'rock solid' are often at odds somewhat. Could you have set distances that the legs could lock into? Or would it need to be completely adjustable?

I'd be looking at a pair of isolated bases each with a single upright to attach to either side of the frame.
Each base will need at least three feet or casters and the compromise will the the distance between the three feet and the overall size.
Racking would be controlled by the mounting to and the strength of the loom frame.

Apologies for the late reply chaps but i really appreciate the input :D I decided on this sliding leg system which covers all the frame sizes if made long enough.
After this the other option was just two heavy legs. I need to add another block to the bottom of the leg to give a bit more stability, but once a frame is in place it's all pretty solid. I cut a tenon which sits inside the rails with a bolt passing through, will probably change the petal knob for a Bristol lever to make it easier. I'm tempted to glue a block under the centre of the frame so it's fractionally off the floor, not that there is much weight, more in case it warps, I think you understand what I mean :)
