cut down early summer last year. ripped into blanks with my Ikra electric chainsaw, then "turned".

Can't fault the workmanship and finish.

And at risk of offending, (as you haven't requested C&C and I couldn't do anything half as good), I think the outside shape is not quite 'right'. I thknk you could improve it by making the shape more of a continuous curve, rather than partly straight-looking with quite noticeable direction changes.

Hope that makes sense and doesn't offend.

I looked at the outside and wasn't sure then saw the inside photo and thought "wow - that looks fab". Whatever your preference for outside shape though you've done a lovely job of making the wood look beautiful.
 
The bowl looks great, and the inside is spot on ! and seeing the piece of wood before hand all ways fascinates me to see what comes out of it !
 
Actually I made a mistake, the blank shown above made this bowl, not the one above. The following all came from the same branch and the bigger ones are 8-10 inches diameter. The smaller pieces are from coring the blanks.
