4mm pine to MDF

Destructive Dave, I think you need to see this with your own eyes.

Take an offcut of your pine, plane it to 2mm thick, then glue two moderate sized pieces of the 2mm piece together with the grain at 90 degrees. Hang it from a nail and watch it curl and move over the next week!

Rare earth magnets either end to.hold it to a surface would be interesting I bet it still curls unless it's very short across the grain.

I will follow some advice and send some pictures I feel like I've asked if I should commit Suicide or not. Well the problem with hanging yoself is the moisture will hit the beam in no time and leave you with a loose noose about this hoose

I used 12mm ply.
Burnt 20mm cedar on both sides, bandsawed it in half, thicknessed both sides down to about 3mm.
Built my own laminating press. (Could send photo’s if you want)
Laminated it up both sides.
Aluminium edging.
