I really do think that this sort of information is a lot more use when it is widely shared, and one of the aims of TATHS is to "further the knowledge and understanding of hand tools and the trades in which they were used" so it all joins up nicely, I think.
I'll confess when the hammer fell I was bit gutted I tipped you off, I'd have happily paid that much. On the bright side it couldn't have found a better home and all of us can now enjoy it.
