    Acrylic sanding sealer and lacquer question

    I have not used the stuff before but bought some at the weekend and opened it up tonight and its like thick jelly. it is like squeezing tooth paste out of a tube. Is this normal? If so how much water should i add to thin it down or should i take it back to the shop? thanks

    Danish Oil and drying (noob question)

    I need a little advice with Danish Oil. I am currently coating an Oak board with the oil and it seems to have gone sticky. Is this just the normal drying process and it will end up not sticky? Also what is best to do between each coat? Apply more or rub it down with 000 wire wool or anything...

    5/12/2010 had a water pipe burst which sent a jet of water into a double electric socket, then up hitting the underside of the kitchen units and then down onto and into my washer dryer.
