Acrylic sanding sealer and lacquer question

I have not used the stuff before but bought some at the weekend and opened it up tonight and its like thick jelly. it is like squeezing tooth paste out of a tube.

Is this normal?

If so how much water should i add to thin it down or should i take it back to the shop?

Take it back. It you should be able to pour it.

If it's gone into a jelly consistency it means that it's been frost bitten. Definitely take it back.
