    Which blade for 4mm perspex ?

    I always use Flying Dutchman #3 Polar blades at a slow speed. Let the blade do the work and don't push the work into it. Because they only cut in one direction there is not the same friction, so no melting behind the blade and no chattering on the upward cut

    Geoff, I just looked on the Swansea Timber and plywood Co Ltd website. Their prices are very reasonable and so are their delivery charges. I will be ordering some 6mm birch ply from them soon. Thanks for the info. Mick

    Alan, I use that shop (Hoylands ) all the time. They do sell some very cheap ply offcuts but it's not birch and there are quite a lot of voids in it. I do buy all my pine from them and dowel as well, they ae very reasonable. Mick
