Thanks for the info, so it seems that for larger thicknesses one must unscrew and adjust against the baseplate.

    Wood thickness Pocket hole jig

Hi, I have been looking at the UJK Pocket hole jig at Axi. What the site (applied to Kreg as well) does not explain is: how to handle the thickness of the wood with the clamping part. Considering in both cases the clamp is fixed - does the clamp head screw into the "main shaft" to compensate...

    Plywood question [closed]

I wish to buy some decent plywood boards, 19mm (3/4"). Whenever I see pictures of other folks work / demonstrations the boards they use seem very high quality. (Without voids and many thin laminations). It seems when I look around I seem not to come across theses high quality boards. Can I be...

Excuse the ignorance as I am not an expert. I have a TV that has an optical output, I wish to connect it to my amplifier and speakers. (The TV does not have an analogue output). recommedations for a usb powered hub

Hi there, unfortunately, you do not explain what you want to do with the hub. If you are connecting devices, the prob usually arises when you have a mix of active/passive and/or usb powered devices mixed with external powered devices. Yes it should all work but is becomes cranky very quickly...

    Gas tool problem

I have a soldering gun -the type you connect to a propane gas bottle. I have fitted a regulator to my 10kg bottle and coupled up the gas gun. However my flame is pathetic whether even if the gun valve is fully open. Maybe a standard gas regulator is not suitable - if so what regulator should...
