Your hooked very nice for your first try, have a look on You Tube at pen turning videos, MM sanding and BLO/CA finish is good, along with many others. I feel sure you will make many many more well done.

Sam before you buy anything have a look at Pen Turning on You Tube, Rutlands Kit looks good to start with, make sure you read all about it on Google, because once you start you will not be able to stop.( Oh must try that kit next!!! :roll: :wink: ) Thomasb (John really).

Category= Intermediate Pens. An Americana Ink-Ball Pen in Acrylic (Cobalt Blue), after roughing-out, finished turning with the Micro Spindlemaster, sanded with Micro-Mesh, finished with Brasso, two coats, Ren Wax two coats.

Has Beejay says not cheap, get yourself a good blank, take your time over each step, lock the door, turn off the phone, no radio :roll: :roll: Best of luck, don't forget the pics, I think you have to ask for the instructions with your order, they must think you have made one before!!
