Guys I have been refurbing my Wadkin rip saw (see other thread) and i recently bought a chop saw table of a guy locally. Whilst i was there he mentioned that he also had a table saw to sell, so i sid i would be interested in taking a look. Well it turns out it is what looks like a later series...

    Supplementary Bonding (Bathroom)

Matt Ive just done my bathroom and got a spark to check it over once i had done it. He said everything i had done was ok. I asked like you about bonding to the earth in the house and he told me it is explicitly not required. The idea is that you are making evrything at the same potential...

    WhichWood

Yes, i think the idea behind the large head is two fold. Firstly its a large surface area for yout to hit, secondly its a large surface area to contact the felt and stop it moving and lastly its a large surface area that generally imprints into the felt to hopefully create a water tight seal...

The bottom unit houses a couple of draws and the wheels, further units sit on top of the base unit and attach via locking metal hasps. Ive seen this type of things used for...

    router collets

I have made collets and they are manufactured so that at the correct position within the spindle when pulled up the size is correct to match the mating part within a very tight tolerance. This means as another poster has suggested good concentricty etc etc but also that the contact area for the...

    WP150 PLANER FOR SALE

BTR Don't get over sensitive about it, people have now advised you so hopefully you can improve your communication. I am surprised if you frequent other forums that nobody mentioned it. Alot of forums even make a point of noting this in their terms. It is however very difficult to read a post...

    workshop hutch style racking system

I had the same idea when i bought the material to make my first tool cabinets, not made them yet but got the sheet goods. I went and looked at all the ply at our timber yard, and they had quite a bit. The shuttering ply was all over the place, you would never get a straight side...... Anyway i...

    NVR switch with router table

AFAIK as has been suggested the capacitor is for spark suppression on the switch, much like a condensor on old points system in a vehicle. If you remove the switch then no capacitor needed. Cheers Mav
