Agree this has been a brilliant and informative thread, but I think a change in title may be in order.
 
If you tell me how, I’ll change it to ‘router table or spindle moulder?’ Or somesuch.

I have two books about the machine, but there’s no substitute for asking direct questions to an experienced user. And some things are missing from the books - for example, spindle cutters are numbered, like this 004 that came with the machine:

It’s been hanging on a little rack since it arrived, and I thought it was just a decorative moulding. It only recently occurred to me that if you run it down both sides of a piece you have a handrail. And if you cut it into pieces, possibly scribing the end as well, you have a drawer/door handle/knob.

This info is lacking in seller descriptions (cf router cutters) and would go nicely into an appendix of a book - cutter uses by number, with examples.
