I am a new member.Self taught turner, Only been turning for 9months
My first attempt at a hollow form from a piece of Almond I was given by a tree man!!! It stands about 5" high and about 8" across, it has pinks, reds and oranges in it.was so chuffed with it I just had to show someone!!!!!!

why cant I find a piece like that haha

Blimey, two really nice pieces there!. Really like the hollow form, amazing effort!.
