I'm currently knocking up a shed the Mike Garnham way.

Any reason why I shouldn't add a ply skin directly to the timber frame then put the breather membrane on top and then batten and clad?

The reasoning for this is a bit of extra security (and I actually have lots of free spare 1/2 ply)

It would also be hand as I don't intend to clad straight away and I could have security and it would be weather tight straight off?

I've done exactly that Buntus, except I used OSB for the exterior sheeting and put the breather paper underneath. It's been up since the spring without any cladding, there are no damp or draught issues so far and I'm quite tempted to just paint it with agricutural building paint instead of cladding it and use the money for new toys. :D
