Wood ident and piece for critque

Can any one identify the wood the small bowl is made from in the picture below.

Also another new piece which is a Elm bow 130 mm x 80 mm

.

I like the grain orientation on the elm piece, gives it a nice shape. Nice dark colour too.

The little one my guess is pear wood (assuming the pink tinge is in the wood not the lighting!).

Very nice shape indeed, but i'd lose the foot altogether imho, and leave the bottom rounded.
