Sorry if this is the wrong forum but its for wiring up an induction motor so it could be for any tool, myself im building a combined wood lathe and drum sander

I opened the top to a 2hp single phase 4 pole induction motor to wire it up and didnt see the L N E i was expecting to see ;D , i'm hoping someone will be able to tell me which terminals to connect the live neutral and earth to please, it also appears to have 2 capacitors

Thanks flh, i dont remember seeing a diagram in the lid but ill have a look when i get back home tomorrow morning, the wire im going to use is 2.5mm 3core flex which is effectively a recycled 5 gang extension lead that has a smashed socket box, the box will be chopped off and thrown leaving me with the flex plug and the 13amp fuse ;)
 
Sorry flh for the big delay but yes there was a diagram inside the lid which i saw after wiring up how you mentioned ;) and yep it worked so thanks buddy.
