Willow seasoning?

hi guys i have this willow log that i cut down a couple of months ago its 15 inches width and 10 inches long. i want to cut it cross grain, seal it and make some cake boards. i have no idea how to season anything any advice?

Why whats wrong with it?

It will warp, split splinter twist shake
It's difficult to cut

I can't think of a more useless material, it does not even burn nicely.

And before you mention cricket bats only a limited type of willow is any good for those.

I've googled willow uses and although more than likely useless as end grain, as previously said, if you cut it as thinner planking, in the usual way, Willow is used for boxes and fishtraps.
A pity to waste, If it has some uses!
