Roy it is because they are women, a man could not comprehend the burning desire to go hat hunting, it's a genetic thing.

Must be, odd that it seems to be triggered by pending nuptuals though.
The reason I asked was that I'd just come out of the workshop and made a cuppa for me and her indoors, she was watching a re-run of 'The Wedding!'
The hats seem to vary from a size that wouldn't have made a saucer for my cup to those that shaded the next three rows!
