It seems there are some incredibly wealthy (or crazy!) book collectors out there. Copies of 'Handsaw Essentials' are going for about £350 to £1,000 :shock:

It's probably like ebay, where they price things up higher that are not meant to be sold, such as when they're out of stock or some other reason. Basically just so they don;t have to relist it

Pete's right - it's software bots at work. The article he linked to is quite old, but it's still a problem. I was talking to a big online bookseller the other day and they confirmed that it can still happen.
Of course, those prices are just asking prices, not prices actually paid.
