I have owned the Festool and the Mafell..... The Mafell is by far the better saw...
More power, scoring function, -1% bevel , plunge depth setting for the saw being on or off the rail, quicker blade change, only 1 knob to adjust angle. guide rails join a lot quicker and easier, splinter guard can't fall off like the Festools always do .... Thats just the ones i can quickly think of :D

Festool TS55 probably the best tool they make get one you wont regret it.

There are other saws with extra gadgets but you wont need anything else. At the end of the day Festool invented the rail saw way back in the 60's so I should think they know better than anyone how to build a good saw.
