Which blades for AWSBS2?

I can't vouch for the £37 blades, but I have used Axcalibur's cheaper blades and they are very good.

I've also heard good things about their own Axcalibur range of blades, George.
£37... Is that M42 steel? If so, I've used one but don't see them as 'essential'. Because of the variable-pitch of the teeth, they leave an excellent finish (when using the correct feed-rate) and if there's a nail or lump of metal, it'll slice straight through it! 8) If you were looking to do a lot of deep resawing on a bandsaw though, it would probably be worth the steep investment (as long as the blade doesn't snap! :wink

Take Steve Maskery's advice buy a couple of spare blades at the same time. :wink:
